well, originality ends as soon as creators continue with the sreies. and if it wasn't for that, we wouldn't have any new Nanoha things to enjoy....or complain that it's not original anymore. i think Nanoha is fine the way it's going mecha and all since that is a point which it was known for with its devices. they're just fleshing out that bit more

Never liked the new StrikerS cast...

It's all very well complaining that it sucks because the strikers can go toe-to-toe with Nanoha and crew and not be instantly flattened, but it would be ridiculous by this stage if they couldn't stand up to them.

After all, this is four years after StrikerS, and they've been training that entire time, and are probably approaching their peaks in terms of ability, whereas Nanoha and Fate have been about at that peak for about 5 years by now.

Essentially, the older characters can't get much more powerful (and haven't been able to since StrikerS), whereas the younger ones can and have.

I don't like how this basically feels like filler, though. Where are the antagonists?

I'd like to think Fate losing her clothes was a setup for Fate fans, but it was still a pretty low blow to Fate fans. From my perspective, at least. As I am a Fate fan, I found it pretty ridiculous for Fate to lose to Erio in such a lackluster fashion. Sure, bring out Fate's strongest form just so Erio can rip it to pieces almost instantly!

Sigh, disappointing.

He definitely won't, but I hope Touma doesn't join up with these guys - they still aren't the most sympathetic characters around, and having them be the heroes' 'buddies' probably wouldn't help that.

Yeah, I noticed that when I posted. Sorry about the quality, it's that bloody camera. Focus adjustment is limited to the macro and non-macro settings, and I have to shrink the images, as they're several times the size of a computer screen and very pixelated. Clarity is thus something of a crapshoot. This was as good as I could get them. My mom's camera gets infinitely better results, but she's reluctant to let others use it and half the time the connector cord has gone missing.

Right now I can't re-do them because I'm visiting my grandparents in Idaho and don't have Megatron or the cola with me. Or, in fact, a camera.
