I know, but Danbooru is the biggest image archive I know of with tons of images ready for the taking. I don't go to /a/ anymore, so I can't get images from there. I'll start an occasional thread on /m/, but that sometimes results in some new Numbers/Subaru/Ginga stuff.

Otherwise, I get a lot of my new stuff from here. I have yet to go through the massive Fate thread, cuz I don't feel like having to look through all my Fate images to make sure I don't save any doubles (another reason my collection may not be that large). I tend to prefer tools that directly find duplicates in my 36000-image collection. Duplicates (as in, exactly the same file) are easy to find -- less than a minute to scan the 36,000 files. However, I use a command-line program that just prints the duplicates, leaving me with a bit of copy'n'paste work. I recommend using a proper GUI program to do that (see >>89 )

Finding near-duplicates is less easy, since you have to actually decode all images, and compare all pairs. I've made a program that does just that ( http://fabien.li/compare_images/ ), and while it's rather buggy, it does a decent half-automatic job. I wouldn't recommend comparing more than 10,000 images at once, though, unless you have a powerful machine.

If your processor is powerful enough, the bottleneck might well be the hard disk, since the program reads every image.

They are also test devices for the "personal-size practical high-speed magic conversion technology."

Nevertheless, a problem unveiled during the testing stage is the lack of sufficient strength and reaction speed of the instruction team members. As a result, only Captain Takamachi's Unit 01 is planned to be put into field testing. A mode which Raising Heart autonomously elected to enter in order to support Captain Nanoha Takamachi (25) as both of her hands are occupied for the use of Strike Cannon. At the same time, the blade edge, which shares the functions of device protector and flight stabilizer, also has the properties of "cutting weapon."

Hmmm this might be what Nanoha was talking about during the force Manga where she was talking about the new equipment she got.

It seems the new device might be another mode for RH, as can be seen with RH behaving similar to a bit, where she is acting similar to a familiar in it's ability to fight on it's own while Nanoha charge that cannon.

The weapon profiling on it is there way of getting round AMF or "Zero Effect" seems pretty interesting, but i wonder will this cause Nanoha some pressure and will flare up her old injuries again or not is for us to see.

Still it's a pretty sweet looking new equipment... and scary now that Nanoha has some ability similar to Fate's Bardiche Zamber form from the device description.

i don't know why they wouldn't go through with making an anime after Force/Vivid. seeing as how the Nanoha series has a huge fanbase, it would be stupid of them not to continue milking the series.....although going from anime to manga makes it seem like they had budget problems kind of like how video games start on the PS3 and then a sequel ending up on PSP (Valkyria Chronicles to be exact). or it could have been because the Nanoha 1st Movie sucked up a lot of their money and they're just waiting to reap the rewards of it before continuing with the series in anime form again.

About the anime idea, I'm guessing that they want to test the waters before committing to doing an anime. Force seems to be taking a darker / more serious tone than the previous stories, so maybe they want to see what fans think of this before spending lots of cash on another anime. Also, it wouldn't really make much sense to launch a new series at the same time as the Movie.

That said, I hope they do an anime as a sequel to Force and not as an adaptation of it. It would be much more interesting to get new material than to simply see the same stuff animated...

Yeah, I noticed that when I posted. Sorry about the quality, it's that bloody camera. Focus adjustment is limited to the macro and non-macro settings, and I have to shrink the images, as they're several times the size of a computer screen and very pixelated. Clarity is thus something of a crapshoot. This was as good as I could get them. My mom's camera gets infinitely better results, but she's reluctant to let others use it and half the time the connector cord has gone missing.

Right now I can't re-do them because I'm visiting my grandparents in Idaho and don't have Megatron or the cola with me. Or, in fact, a camera.
