Chapter 12 of ViVid has been translated by Wings of Yuri.

Highlights of the chapter include Vivio trying to befriend Einhart with Divine Buster, and seeing Rio and Corona's abilities in action. Subaru vs. Nove is also pretty cool.

Lutecia's so smug... and seeing Caro turn that smug around would be awesome. But I noticed that she's not using Fried. I know she's not going to bust out Voltaire out of nowhere. So how is she supposed to "win" against Lu?

Totally looking forward to a 1 shot, 1 kill from Nanoha.

Lio's electric fire dragon vs. Corona's gundam? I don't care who wins, this fight is gonna be aaaaaaawwwwwweeeeeessssoooommmmmeeeee!

I never really paid attention to the Numbers so I'll simply root for Subaru.

Vivio and Einhart...well, no matter who wins, somebody's going to have an orgasm. So in a way, everyone wins.

don't compare DBZ to Bleach. DBZ at least left a mark in history with the all its golden hairness signifying awesomeness. Bleach just plain sucks and is a failed copycat of DBZ (i grew up with DBZ when it first aired in Japan so it has a significant place in my heart).

classic shounen aside, the real magic is seinen mahou shoujo (is that even categorized right?) ala Nanoha style. if you think about it, the "befriending" technique of Nanoha runs parallel to shounen mangas "let's be friends!" system.....though done with much more style and hotness....am i rite?

Fate and Signum are probably the two stronger mages in 1v1 matches. I can't see either of them losing.

One of two things will happen. Note that neither Fate nor Caro is on Erio's team. One of them will do something to cause him to lose, either via him being caught off guard by one of them or via him having to do something chivalrous for one of them that leaves him vulnerable to attack.

That almost sounds as if you think Erio is stronger than Fate. >.>

Why would Fate need to catch Erio off guard, wouldn't it be the other way around? Erio catching Fate off guard.

Well, I was referring more to how Goku and Vegeta had to bust their asses for extreme amounts of time and survive what should have killed them several times over to become SSJ, and then all of a sudden there are little kids not even 10 years old hitting multiple SSJ levels and even doing fusion. Which is kinda what I'm seeing here now.

But yeah, you'd think in a dimension of magic there'd be more than five useful attack spells to learn.

Looks the other way around to me. Nanoha and Fate were awesome super powered lolis in the first two seasons, and none of the new cast has been able to obtain that level of power. Sure, there are the wolkenritter (mainly Signum) but she's not exactly human and shes been around a veryyy long time.

I wasn't aware Vivid ever had a point. Do I think it's possible both Nanoha and Fate will see each other in the finals? I think it's very possible...But I also think one of them might not make it there. Neither Fate or Nanoha will lose in the first round, however, and when one of them does lose (probably Fate...) I doubt they're going to play if off as "you've grown stronger than me" kind of feel. She'll lose because of some other reason.

And when did Tia took lessons from Zafira??? ah well should be good to see the two aces duke it out but the chances of that happening are pretty slim... sigh

errr it's during the sound stages... the Zamber blade was during the Ix arc with ERio using Zamber blade, and Zafira been mentioned by Tia was also in the sound stages.

sorry to burst your bubble, but he didn't say Zamber Blade. in fact, he said Thunder Blade which if you remember is a move Fate has done before as well (recall back to A's when she "saved" Signum from the giant worm before their epic battle.....i think).

The second forum you're refering to is Düsenform (German: "Jet Form") where Strada has rocket boosters coming out.... there isn't a third form in Stikers as far as I can recall.

The Zanber Blade move is Fate using Bardiche in Zamber blade mode, the one your'e refering to is Thunder Rage that is Fate's old move before she upgraded it to Trident Smash. Anyway the Thunder Rage move Erio uses is completely different to the original which was a bombarment move. He on the other hand covers in hand in ectricity and smashes into the opponent, it should have been dubbed "Thunder Fist" but I guess he wanted to pay tribute to Fate... anyway still looking for the Zafira reference...

I can't say anything about the SSX clip, since I can't be sure what Erio said, but... I'll clarify about the said moves.

Thunder Rage -> The move which Fate used when she saved Nanoha in the Garden of Time in S1, right before their first team-up attack. It rains lightning into an area. Erio also uses it with Strada except he can only generate lightning around the area where his spear strikes (first seen when they fought Wendi and Nove in ep 17). Strada transforms into Unwetterform(Storm Form) for this, which is the third form.

Thunder Blade -> A move that Fate starts using in A's after Bardiche gets upgraded. It creates magic swords like Chrono's Stinger Blade which is also in A's, except she can summon lighting to strike at the blades later. Fate uses it to save Signum from one of those monsters in the desert world.

The move that's upraded to Trident Smasher in StrikerS was called Thunder Smasher in S1 and Plasma Smasher in A's.

Erio never named 'thunder punch' anything, except calling out "Shiden Issen" while doing it which is Signum's trademark.

Anyway, there hasn't been a move called 'Zamber/Zanber Blade' before iirc.

It'd be totally awesome to see Erio pull off a Zanber-like attack again though ! The time with the Caro boost was pretty cool.

i consider this Strada's third form. it was shown only once in StrikerS in the scene when Erio and Subaru launched the surprise attack on Nove and Wendi after being hidden with the help of Teana and Caro. and the move Erio uses in that form of Strada was Thunder Rage i believe.

and i still don't believe that Erio says Zamber Blade no matter how many times i listen to it. i'm always hearing "Sanda Buraido" (Thunder Blade) and not "Zamba Buraido", so i'm sticking to what i'm hearing. >>34 backs it up with the Thunder Blade note and i second the claim of there not being a "Zamber Blade" move....the closest one would be Jet Zamber.
