i still can't stand Fate's hair design in Vivid when in her barrier jacket. the mangaka should've designed it like in Force. then again, Erio's design in Vivid is better than Force.

Apparently Fate says that she's been going all out for awhile, yet she still can't get the upper hand on him. After so many years, Erio is just better than her now I guess.

I really don't get why it's so hard to comprehend that Erio--who is a product of the same genetic engineering project as Fate, and is now almost as old as Fate was in StrikerS--is strong enough to match up to her now. Oh, and, uh, last time I checked, Fate has a limiter on her, btw. Anyone want to bet whether people would be this upset if Fate was being fought to a stalemate by someone who wasn't (EEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWW) a male?

In fact, as long as we're betting, anyone still want to place a wager on my earlier prediction of how Erio will eventually lose?

Thing is, Fate was too awesome and powerful as a loli in comparison to Erio, hence I don't think Erio can catch up to Fate in a span of a few years, when Fate would have only gotten stronger herself up until StrikerS and possible farther.

As for Fate being at a stalemate - No, I'd be pretty furious if she was at a stalemate with quite a few characters. If she has her limiters on while fighting Erio, then what is currently happening makes sense.

I'm doubting Fate will lose as well, so no wagers from me.

Yeah, this. Right now I think Erio's at the point that he can match blows with her.

I don't see any reason why they would be using limiters. I think their match is something like arm wrestling with a teenager you can't take lightly anymore. Erio most likely has been training on his own while he was on Caro's little island and he wasn't such a pushover himself during StrikerS. It would be more odd if Fate was able to curbstomp Erio after all this time.

Buuuuut I still can't see her losing this fight. It would be retarded to have S-ranked mage lose against a AA-ranked knight (we're calling him a knight, right?).

Now let's see if this author makes Fate derpy enough to forget that her magic stick can produce a huge fucking blade.

She was beatable before StrikerS, but she seems pretty unstoppable during StrikerS and beyond. Limiters or not...

Actually, that they have limiters doesn't really matter. Lower ranked mages (Chrono and that old lady) have defeated Nanoha and Fate before and that goes to show that it doesn't matter what level your magic is. Limiter or no, Fate should be able to beat Erio considering her skill and experience. Since she's not, though, it just goes to show how far Erio's come along.

They win with experience, but that's not the point. Fate's magic being restricted, hence she can't overpower Erio, she has to win with skill. However, shes not even using any of her alt modes. She can't say she's 'going all out' and only using bardiche in its original form. And after several years of experience; practicing with Fate, I'm sure he knows Fate pretty well. Unlike those times erio beat Fate and Nanoha back when they were so young and inexperienced. The point was never 'Erio didn't get better' it was that Fate is still plenty strong enough to overpower him, but the limiters are restricting her potential.
