Feels time-to-get-a-job-and-actually-BUY-anime man.
>>Also, props to Arf for being majorly badass in the movie.
When she confronted Precia, it was nice. As majorly outmatched as she was, her emotions really showed.
^Dem badass stomps on the ground.
Even before, I loved how she got angry, had that rageface on, and just kicked ass. Like throwing Chrono around.
Yeah, I think Arf had a vendetta against Chrono pretty much ever since he shot Fate down.
Gotta feel sorry for whoever standing in front
Love the SLB animation remake
Fate's FFFFFUUUUUUU face
Quadruple (or Quintuple) shields
Staaaaa lightoooooooo
Breakaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111111
Insert glass shattering sound effect
Concrete building vaporized in ONE frame
This makes Blaster-3 SLBx6 look weak...
Gotta give Fate credit for trying.
I'm sorry for hitting you with something that can wipe out an entire city with one shot
That attack is so unfair, lol.
woah, someone went all out with the caps.
Thought it was pretty cool when Fate casually looks behind her to see a projectile, and then casually moves her head a little to dodge it, and then proceeds to smash Nanoha's barrier.
>woah, someone went all out with the caps.
Well, y'know, I always like to screencap everything. Almost 200 screencaps for the movie now.
Yep. And it was four seconds of pure fright, I'm sure.

If only somebody can add (hopefully fitting) music to it.
I like this frame more.
Yeah, the way her hair is blocking a small portion of her face gives a nice affect.
I watched, but while it was definitely pretty, it felt kinda hollow when compared to the actual 1st season. I enjoyed the more developed characterizations, while I am still of two minds about the minutes devoted to making Precia not a Complete Monster.
Her portrayal here defied the 'Irrevocably Lost to Madness' that the TV show built up; giving her backstory completly demolished the emotional impact of Fate learning her true origin. It was harder to sympathize with her when the major twist isn't a surprise to us. The TV series handled it better in keeping it secret to the last moment so that we, who spent the entire time building up our hate for Precia suddently had our justifications blown out from under us, leaving us feeling bad about hating someone so in need of hugs and therapy.
No picture sorry, as I watched the Blu-Ray rip in a theater with HD projector and surround-sound.
>>Her portrayal here defied the 'Irrevocably Lost to Madness' that the TV show built up; giving her backstory completly demolished the emotional impact of Fate learning her true origin.Wasn't the part of the back story which focused on Fate being a clone, after Fate learned her true origin? I recall the flashback happening right after Fate learned of it. The flashbacks before it never confirmed anything relating to that.
The movie was a bit rushed, but it still wasn't hard to sympathize with Fate, imo. You have to think of the movie as additional content of the series, not a stand alone -- since the back story was nice to have. But because of time constraints, certain things were left out that did leave a large impact on the viewers. That's not to say the movie can't be enjoyed on its own merits, but since we already know everything from the series, not everything needs to be included in the movie.

Nope, I hated Precia (in the series) until her very last breath. And beyond, lol. Regardless what happened to Precia's Alicia, she was still so abusive and cruel to Fate for reasons that didn't even assist in making Fate try harder for the jewel seeds. I'd say it had a reverse affect, as Fate was left going into battle injured most of the time, no thanks to Precia's physical abuse.
I can see how some people would sympathize with Precia more in the movie, even if I don't share the sentiments. But in the series? Even by the end, I don't see how.
